For the Citrus Syrup: Combine all the items inside a pan, heat until it reaches a simmer, mixing so the sugar melts. Then, turn off the stove allowing it to cool down completely. Decant into a clean bottle, cap it and refrigerate it in the fridge, it will last for around four weeks.

To make Batch Mix: Pour every spirits and syrup in a large bottle, leave to sit for one hour, then strain best through cheesecloth, making it perfectly clear.

When ready to serve: Add 85ml from the cocktail base into a cocktail shaker packed with ice, and agitate carefully for a minute to cool it down. Filter into a cold coupe glass or similar, top with a few cranberries and complete it by giving it a light spray of mandarin oil over the top.
